Summer Break!

Hi Friends,

Thanks for tagging along with the Travel Dispatch for half of the year (can you believe?)! We’ve covered quite a few destinations - and there’ll be more in store soon. The first official day of summer is today, and I’m looking forward to enjoying the weather, slowing down, and taking time away from my desk. With that said, the Travel Dispatch, will be taking a summer break - for two months! We’ll be back the first week of September to recap some new destinations and a launch of a new Solferino content platform.

Before I log off for the summer, I want to express my genuine gratitude and appreciation to everyone that’s subscribed, shared, and talked with me about Solferino. I quickly realized that although I love talking about my travel and sharing recommendations with friends and family - thinking, writing, and producing an article every other week is pretty tough. The experience to share it with you all on this platform has made it super worthwhile.

As for me, the next two months should be packed with travel. As you read this, I’ll be on my way to Japan for a two - week expedition from Tokyo to Kyoto, I’ll return and hopefully do some long weekends in New England, and I’m sure some other day trips. I am so excited to visit some new destinations and share them all with you when I return!
